Last night, the One team were all at No.10 Downing Street, to celebrate the milestone of reaching £10m raised for The One Foundation, an achievement which has changed the lives of over 2.5 million people, predominantly in Sub-Saharan Africa. The reception was kindly hosted by Samantha Cameron after Duncan wrote to her back in December last year.

[/one_third]Joining us were many of the friends and businesses who have supported us over the years – those who have been instrumental in getting us to this point. Without people buying our water (and other One branded products), and telling their friends and associates about the uniqueness of One, none of this would have been possible.

During the evening, 7 businesses were honoured for their special role in this achievement. They were each awarded with the “One Marco Longari Award for Changing Lives” – a recognition for people and businesses that have gone the extra mile for us. Each of the honourees haven’t just sold our products, they have come with us on a journey and, in different ways, worked hard on our behalf to make the One brand and the One Foundation the successes that they are today.

The honourees comprised The Co-operative Group, Hawksmoor Restaurants, Peros and Aramark, Starbucks, World Duty Free Group, and our long time photographer and filmmaker extraordinaire, Toby Richards of Type B Productions.

Honourees at No.10

It was an unforgettable event. And after the Downing Street reception we headed down to the Thames for a party and fundraising event aboard a boat on the river, with many of the amazing people who’ve been involved with One along our journey. It was a truly inspirational evening, thoroughly enjoyed by all, so we hear.

Thanks to everyone who has been part of our journey for the past ten years, and here’s to the next ten years and the next £10 million!
