We want to hear about a time someone did one good thing that made a difference to your life – however big or small.

Whether it was a stranger’s kind gesture, a friend’s support or an act that changed your life, your story could win you a digital detox at Unplugged – an off-grid cabin retreat anywhere in the UK.

How to Enter:

Win a digital detox at Unplugged – an off-grid escape at one of their stunning cabin locations across the UK.

It’s your chance to slow down, switch off, and reconnect – with nature, yourself, and what really matters. No WiFi, no notifications, just proper feel-good moments in a cosy cabin made for peace, presence, and perspective.

Because doing one good thing for the world, should give something back to you.

terms and conditions

  1. No purchase is necessary. Closing date for receipt of entries is 31st August 2025.
  2. The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 and over. Employees of One Water and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
  3. To enter, simply share a story about a time someone did one good thing that made a difference to your life, and enter your email address via the form provided. Each entrant may enter once via the form. For one additional entry, share your story on Instagram using #DoOneGoodThing and tagging @onewateruk
  4. Following the closing date, one winner will be selected by the One Water team based on the spirit, impact, and originality of their story. The winner will be contacted via the email address provided within 14 days of the competition closing. If the winner does not respond within 14 days, a new winner will be selected.
  5. There is one prize of a £480 voucher towards a stay with Unplugged, redeemable for any cabin at any location across the UK. The voucher can be used to book for any available date in 2025, but the booking must be made within three months of the winner being notified. The winner will be responsible for booking their stay directly with Unplugged, using the voucher provided. Travel, food, and additional expenses are not included. The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
  6. By entering, you agree that we may share your story, first name, and Instagram handle (if applicable) across One Water’s website, social media channels, and marketing materials. Additional personal information provided will only be used for administering the competition and in accordance with One Water’s Privacy Policy.
  7. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, or extend the competition and these terms and conditions where necessary. The decision of The Promoter regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding.
